About the event
On Reformation Sunday, we give thanks for the gospel that set the church free: we are made right with God by grace, not by our own effort. That freedom is not just for ourselves. Luther wrote that a Christian is a free lord, subject to none, and a dutiful servant, subject to all. This year we hear Jesus answer the question at the center of it all: which commandment is greatest? Love God with everything you are, and love your neighbor as yourself. Freed by grace, we are sent to love.
Come as you are. All are welcome at St. Michael. And all are invited to the table.
